COMPENSATION

• $25,200 per full week block (Monday 8am to Monday 8am, 168 hours, paid in full)
• $150/hr. effective rate across the block
• Monday-to-Friday blocks also available
• Flight, rental car, lodging (or on-site hospital Airbnb), and mileage fully covered

WHY THIS ROLE

This is not a high-volume shop and it is not meant to be. It is designed for an experienced family medicine physician who wants a consistent, low-pressure monthly block in a rural Minnesota community, with full autonomy, genuine independence, and a reliable income stream that fits around whatever else you are doing.

You run the department. Nursing and APP support are on site, but clinical decisions are yours. The Airbnb on-site replaces a middle-of-the-night in-hospital obligation with a quiet evening in a comfortable space five minutes from the ED. Call-backs happen, but infrequently.

The community is real, the need is ongoing, and the schedule is consistent. If you are a Midwest doc who prefers rural medicine over high-volume urban EDs, this is worth a conversation.

CREDENTIALING

Process is essentially auto-offer. Optional phone call with the hospital administrator available if desired. Credentialing timeline approximately 60 to 90 days with prompt documentation. We handle all credentialing logistics and licensing assistance.
