JOB  - Substitute Educational Assistants - On call, as needed.

Location: District Wide

Scheduled Hours/Days: Varies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and schedules
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test, as required by state and local regulations.

• General Ed EA: $19.79/hr.
• Special Ed EA: $21.86/hr.

An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year.

We are seeking Substitute Educational Assistants to work on an as‑needed basis within our educational facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment, and assisting with various classroom tasks.

• Provide support to teachers in the classroom, including helping with lesson preparation, grading, and classroom management
• Assist students with classroom assignments and activities, including reading, writing, and math
• Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Help with classroom organization and maintenance, including cleaning and organizing materials and supplies
• Assist with special education programs and support students with disabilities
• Communicate with teachers and staff regarding student progress and any concerns or issues that arise
