Aitkin School District #0001 is looking for a Part Time Spanish Teacher who will work with students learning Spanish for the 2026‑2027 School Year.

• Teach Spanish courses at the high school level, following Minnesota state standards.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that promote language acquisition, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Incorporate technology and real‑world applications to enhance learning.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in professional development and school activities as required.
• Establish and maintain high standards for the educational experience of students.

• Current MN K‑12 Spanish Licensure (all language teachers are welcome to apply; variances are a possibility).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to work cooperatively with staff.
• Experience working with students in grades 7‑12.

• Salary: $45,541 to $87,016 FTE, prorated based on teaching assignment – dependent on education and experience.
