Location: Community Education

Scheduled Hours/Days: As needed

• Applicant must be 16 to apply.
• Desire to invest in individual achievement.
• Desire to provide an organized learning environment.
• Evidence of relationship building with youth.
• Evidence of specific sport or program knowledge and experience.
• Evidence of initiative taking and self‑directing.

• Attend staff training on the evening of June 3rd.
• Follow the lead of the program supervisor and assist with programming.
• Arrive early, know and fully execute the plan for each day, engage 100% throughout the program, teach general disciplines of each activity, enhance skill development, build relationships with youth, and communicate as needed with parents/guardians.
• Show enthusiasm and create fun, positive experiences through words, actions, and non‑verbal cues.
• Keep track of time worked and record on timesheet.
• Openly communicate with the recreation coordinator, in a timely manner, regarding vacation requests, program issues, etc.
• Be required to fill in for up to two Saturday swim lessons or two evening swim lessons (if aquatics staff).

• Pay Rate: $15.02/hr – $16.37/hr.
• Benefits: This position is not eligible for benefits.
• Deadline: 3/16/2026.
• Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.
