Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Public School, Central Minnesota. The district serves the communities of Grey Eagle, Burtrum, and Long Prairie, is 1‑hour drive from St. Cloud, 2‑hours from the Twin Cities, 30 minutes from Alexandria, and 3 hours from Duluth.
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementation of the district‑approved curriculum; document teaching and student progress, address specific educational needs of individual students, and create a flexible, safe, and optimal learning environment. Provide feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, and goals.
Essential Functions- Develop and administer elementary curriculum consistent with district goals and objectives.
- Promote a safe classroom environment conducive to individualized and small‑group instruction.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and translate them into engaging learning experiences.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and modify instruction to meet individual needs, including students with special needs.
- Instruct students in responsible citizenship and other subject matters specified in applicable laws and school regulations.
- Continue to acquire professional knowledge through seminars, workshops, professional meetings, or research.
- Maintain accurate records for grading, reporting, attendance, and other required documentation.
- Encourage parental involvement and communicate effectively with students and parents.
- Ensure student conduct aligns with school and district policies, establishing a functional learning atmosphere.
- Coordinate with other elementary staff to evaluate curriculum, participate in faculty meetings and committees.
- Select and requisition instructional books, aids, supplies, and equipment, maintaining inventory.
- Supervise students during out‑of‑classroom activities, including transportation.
- Administer standardized tests in accordance with district testing programs.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and district administrators.

Qualifications Profile- MN State Certification as an Elementary Teacher.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Successful prior teaching experience at the appropriate grade levels a plus.
Salary and BenefitsSalary Range: $45,129 – $83,967 depending on education and experience.
