Your role will focus on a center-based Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) classroom for K-2 students, providing both teaching and instructional leadership while helping shape supportive, positive learning environments.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (EBD licensure strongly preferred)
• Background in supporting students with significant behavioral needs
• Proficiency in developing/implementing IEPs and BIPs
• Skilled in behavior intervention, de-escalation, and classroom consultation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Preferred:
  Experience in K-2 center-based classrooms, PBIS/CPI/restorative practices, trauma-informed instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction and classroom support for a high-support EBD setting (approximately 6 students)
• Develop and execute individualized plans for students
• Collaborate with support staff and contribute to a safe, positive classroom environment
• Employ restorative and trauma-informed practices
