ISD #118 - Northland Community Schools is a district in beautiful north central Minnesota, serving the communities of Outing, Longville, Federal Dam, Boy River and Remer. The residents of the district passed a referendum in 2015 and a new addition to the campus was built, with the rest of the campus being completely remodeled. We have successfully implemented PBIS and AVD as well as a 1:1 ratio for Chromebooks and other devices and we have a very successful Indian Education program.
Job Summary - Implement district approved curriculum; document student progress/activities/outcomes; address educational needs of individual students in an optimal learning environment and provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress. This assignment begins on approximately December 12, 2026 and is expected to end March 3, 2027.
Qualifications:
MN teaching license for grades 7-12 with specialization in English Language Arts
Previous experience teaching English Language Arts to High School students
Enthusiasm and ability to motivate and encourage others
Ability to adapt lesson plans for a variety of grade levels
Ability to work and communicate well with others
All offers of employment are contingent upon background study results
Compensation:
Long-Term Sub rate of $199.26 per day.
