May include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or outdoors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, general classroom clerical support, assisting students with hygiene needs, facilitating behavioral redirection and intervention, and physically transferring students.
Qualifications- High School Diploma required.
- Demonstrated aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
- Must be highly qualified:
- Have at least two years of college credits (usually 60 credits if earned in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education;
- Hold an associate's degree or higher;
- Have a passing score on an approved, formal assessment (Para Pro or Para educator Assessment)
