Job DescriptionAbout STMA Schools: We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1‑4, two middle schools for grades 5‑8, and one high school for grades 9‑12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities: Monitors, supervises and/or provides child care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers or older siblings under the direction of instructional personnel in the ECFE and School Readiness classrooms while parents attend class; participates in classroom activities and classes with parents and children; and assists in the greeting and clean‑up functions prior to and after classes.

Contract:
183 days.
Schedule:
Monday‑Thursday, 7:00 am‑2:30 pm (including a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break). FTE: 0.7 (28 hours per week). Salary: $18.38‑$18.86 per hour.

This position may be combined with other benefits‑eligible positions within the district to reach full‑time benefits eligibility.
QualificationsRequires high school diploma or equivalent (GED), 2 years of schooling beyond high school, knowledge and understanding of child development, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and lift up to 30 pounds.
