Position Details

Title: Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Teacher

Location: Primary School, Chisago Lakes School District

Schedule: 4 hours/day, 175 days/year (0.5 FTE)

Salary Range: $32.70 – $43.22 per hour

Benefits: This position is not benefit eligible

License Requirements: Early Childhood License

• Foster a love of learning in our youngest students while providing vital support and education to their parents and caregivers.
• Bridge the gap between home and school, creating a welcoming environment where families can grow together.
• Provide instruction and guidance in early childhood education and parent education programs.
• Collaborate with staff to plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Maintain open communication with families regarding student progress.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learners.

• Valid Minnesota Teaching License in Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade
  3) or Parent Education.
• Strong understanding of child development and current best practices in early childhood and parent education.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse families.
• Flexible availability to work occasional evening classes to accommodate working families.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.
