Job Overview
Minnetonka Public Schools is accepting applications for a Six‑Week Reserve Teacher for the school year. The Building Float Teacher is a highly flexible and adaptable educator who will provide instruction and support to students in various classrooms throughout the school building. The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of subjects and grade levels, and will work collaboratively with teachers and staff to ensure continuity of instruction and student success.
Responsibilities- Teach a variety of subjects and grade levels.
- Deliver instruction to students in accordance with established lesson plans and curriculum guidelines.
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students and teachers.
- Valid Minnesota Teaching License or Short‑Call License. If you do not hold a Minnesota Teacher License but have a Bachelor’s degree, you may apply for a Short‑Call Substitute teacher license through the Minnesota Professional Educators Licensing and Standards Board: (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)..
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using classroom technology to support instruction.
Daily rate: $283.79 per day. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.
