Class C Behavior Planning and Bus Traffic Paraprofessional – Deephaven Elementary. 7 hours per day (6 hours for behavior, 1 hour for bus traffic), 184 days per year. .

Minimum hourly rate: $21.86 (based on the  wage schedule).

• Implement behavior strategies designed to de-escalate, stabilize, and improve student behavior, attendance, and academic outcomes.
• Apply student management techniques and reinforcement schedules under supervision of teacher or building principal.
• Record and summarize observed data, maintain logs, record computerized data, maintain behavior charts.

• Experience working with elementary school students.
• Evidence of effective student management and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Must be available before school, after school, and designated days in the summer for special events, meetings, and trainings.
• Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc., sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
