Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School is seeking a Long Term Substitute in the area of Special Education. The candidate will work with students with various disabilities and collaborate with Special Education teachers to deliver individualized instruction in academics (reading, writing, math, etc.), social/emotional learning, behavior regulation, and functional skills. Strong communication and leadership skills, and a passion for working with students are required.
This individual will work closely with colleagues to implement specialized instruction across a continuum of service and collaborate with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to ensure accommodations and modifications are applied in lessons, activities, assignments, and tests.
QualificationsAll Special Education teaching licenses considered.
Salary$259.01/day
