Location: Park Rapids

The Park Rapids School District is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Coordinator of Educational Services to join our team at Century Elementary. This full-time position directs and coordinates administrative services in the associated school setting to include supervision of staff and general operations under the direction of the licensed building principal and/or superintendent of schools.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the administration team with coordinating appropriate tasks, ensuring an efficient and effective operation of the educational programs and facilities.
  • May be asked to attend school board meetings as needed.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to leadership by following all Park Rapids Area School Board policies.
  • Will assist in making recommendations and following budget/financial guidelines set by the board, building principal and superintendent.
  • In coordination with the building principal, will make day-to-day operation decisions for associated building activities.
  • Report and communicate with the building principals on issues, matters of concern, and questions regarding programming and staff on a daily basis.
  • Where appropriate will communicate and make decisions in association with building principals on any issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between community, parent and school.
  • Administers student discipline within district policy.
  • Participate in, plan and conduct staff meetings or workshops as related to the special assignment.
  • Provide expertise and assistance in curriculum, and continuous continuity of program and implementation of World’s Best Workforce.
  • Update and maintain accurate and complete records of assigned programs and activities progress and development as required by school, district, state and federal policies, regulations and laws.
  • Will represent and attend meetings as designated by the building principal or superintendent (504, IEP, Curricular, Parent, etc).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an educational setting, with a focus on program coordination or educational support services.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data analysis and the use of educational technology to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable educational environment for all students.
  • Valid teaching certification or administrative credential preferred.
