HS Chemistry Teacher (1.0 FTE)

Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton School District is seeking a caring, outgoing, and transformative Science teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Junior High and High School Science classes, with a background working with at‑risk students and experiential learning.

• Facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills
• Collaborate and work with fellow teachers to provide the best growth and opportunities for high school students
• Create a flexible, safe learning environment that is conducive to individualized and small group learning
• Provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
• Document teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes
• Understand and utilize district technologies to support learning for students
• Other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor

• Salary: $49,412-$55,744 for first‑year teachers, dependent upon education level; additional credit given for years of experience

• Employment Requirements/Conditions:
  Applicants must hold a current teaching license by the Minnesota Department of Education. Science 5‑8 and Chemistry required. Earth and Space Science preferred.
