We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district consists of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12. We also have a transition program for students with disabilities ages 18-22.
The School Psychologist is directly responsible for conducting comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations utilizing problem-solving and standardized assessments. The School Psychologist monitors the completion of special education evaluations and participates in Individual Education Plan (IEP) conferences and problem-solving meetings designing systems, programs and services that maximize students' social, emotional, and educational success. In collaboration with staff, families, students, and communities the school psychologist promotes safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments.

August 24, 2026 (plus new-to-district teacher orientation during the week prior to August 24, 2026) FTE: 1.0
Contract:
186 days (plus 2 or 3 days of new-to-district orientation, depending on the Department of Teaching & Learnings requirements for this position)
Masters/Specialist degree in educational psychology or comparable; licensed as a School Psychologist by the State of Minnesota. Specific content knowledge, training, or job experience required before appointment. School Psychology interns also encouraged to apply.
School Psychologists work by district assignment and may be moved between buildings and/or programs based on student needs, location of certain programs, and student count(s). Elementary, PreK, and Secondary positions available.
Starting salary range = $61,260-$90,967. For more information, please see the Certified Master Contract .
