The Minnetonka Middle School Dance Team is a new program designed for 7th-8th graders aspiring to dance on the high school team in the future.

Season:
November - January. Practices Wednesday & Thursday Evenings. The team will participate in 3-4 competitions on Saturdays in December and January.

Stipend. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.

• Provide leadership and guidance for all dance participants.
• Attend and coach practices, weekend competitions, and community events.
• Organize, set‑up, and ensure a safe practice or competition.
• Develop all participants to their full potential.
• Implement program philosophies, goals, policy and procedures.
• Ensure that all participants follow Minnetonka School District guidelines and code of conduct.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Promote sportsmanship and respect for judges, teams, parents, fans, athletes, administrators and fellow competitors.

• Prior experience in dance is required.
• Evidence of successful coaching experience; ability to teach fundamental skills.
• Positive, enthusiastic, respectful attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to work with students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to program's high standards.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
