High School Art Teacher

Art Teaching Position

Kingsland Public Schools has a 1.0 FTE, 7-12 Art Teaching Position available for the  school year. Candidates should hold or be eligible for a K-12 Visual Arts Minnesota teaching license. Additional licensure areas are a positive. Preferred candidates will possess: A strong background in a variety of visual art media (e.g. drawing, painting ceramics, photography, etc.) Experience with aligning curriculum and assessments to the state standards Skills in differentiating instruction and strong classroom management Cooperative professional approach to teaching and learning Willingness to work as part of a highly collaborative team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong technology and organization skills Strong classroom and behavior management Multiple strategies used to ensure all learners achieve at the highest levels Experience with Professional Learning Communities (PLC), and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Belief that all students can achieve at high levels and meet high expectations Salary: $46,466-$80,386, depending upon experience and education.
