JOB DESCRIPTION

Minnesota School of Music is looking for motivated, professional music teachers to join the team at our fast-growing Blaine location. More than just a music school, we are a passionate team of mentors committed to empowering youth through personalized, parent-inclusive music lessons. As a MnSOM employee, you'll enjoy building value into the lives of kids and teens by sharing your love of music.

Friday 4:00 p.m.

- 8:00 p.m., and/or Saturday 9:00 a.m.

- 2:00 p.m.

Opportunity to add weekday shifts as they become available.

• To deliver personalized, one-on-one, 30-minute music lessons using a company-approved curriculum
• To perform duties following company education and customer service standards
• To keep student progress records
• To prepare students for and participate in seasonal recitals
• To participate in our student achievement program
• To participate in the company’s Professional Development System

• Must be comfortable working with students ages 5-18 and teaching in front of parents.

• Full Schedule
• The company pays 50% of employee FICA tax liability, reflecting a savings of up to $2,115 annually.
• Paid sick leave (beginning January 2024)
• Full-time office staff takes care of all scheduling, billing, and marketing

We are looking for applicants who are willing to commit to at least one year of employment if offered a position.
