3.5 hrs/day - 4 days a week (M-TH); 8:40 am to 12:10 pm

Begins:

Pay rate: $19.81-$22.25/hour (2025-26 rates) - Category B

Per MSEA Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement

• High school graduate or GED.
• Pre-school or child care experience.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Initiative to help out where needed.

Assistant Director of Early Learning

To assist in providing a well‑organized, smooth functioning Early Learning Program.

• Support and monitor students in educational settings.
• Provide teacher support; objective observation, data keeping, and prepare and organize materials.
• Assist in implementing successful student programs as designed by education staff.
• Participate in program trainings provided.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity in cultural heritage, lifestyles, and value systems among students and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal and/or supervising teacher, specific to early childhood programming.
• Ability to work outside in all weather.

Rarely: 1 to 10%;
Occasionally: 11 to 33%;
Frequently: 34 to 66%; and Continuously: 67 to 100% of the workday.
