St. Wenceslaus Catholic School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and student-centered educator to serve as our Long-Term Substitute Teacher for 4th Grade from Monday, October 19, 2026, through Friday, January 29, 2027

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed teacher, recently retired educator, new graduate, or someone looking to return to the classroom in a supportive and faith-filled school community. The classroom teacher will return on Monday, February 1, 2027
, and a thoughtful transition plan will ensure you have the support and resources needed for success throughout the assignment.

The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will:

• Provide engaging, standards-based instruction for 4th grade students.

• Maintain classroom routines and expectations that promote student success.
• Integrate Catholic values into the daily life of the classroom.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Communicate regularly with parents and school staff.
• Maintain a classroom culture rooted in respect, responsibility, and kindness.
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers, specialists, and administration.
• Participate in the faith life and mission of the school.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development, and school events during the assignment.
