Job DescriptionQualifications required:
- Appropriate licensure for special education
- Knowledge in research-based best practices and differentiation
- Preference for having knowledge and experience working with children with an IEP
- Plan and implement individualized instruction designed to meet the educational needs of children on IEPs
- Create a learning environment conducive to the learning needs of children with disabilities
- Encourage student success by collaborating with classroom teachers and assisting with accommodations and modifications when appropriate
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques, embedding technology when appropriate
- Conduct and carry out educational assessments
- Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and district procedures

The district serves the students and community members of the New Prague, Elko New Market, northern Lonsdale areas, as well as several other communities.
