ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses. Some service and research activity may be expected.
The Division of Social Sciences may need Lecturers/Assistant Professors or Teaching Specialists to teach on a short-term and/or temporary basis during the 2026-27 academic year (August 17, 2026 to May 16, 2027) in one or more of the following areas:
- Anthropology
- Economics
- History
- Management
- Political Science
- Psychology
- Sociology
Required/
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. or terminal degree for Lecturer/Assistant Professor; MA/MS or BA/BS for Teaching Specialists, masters preferred. Candidate must have academic preparation appropriate to the specialized teaching field. Though clear emphasis is on successful teaching, consideration will be given to scholarly attainment or other professional recognition or distinction in the teaching field.
Pay Range: $55,000 - $75,000 annual full-time equivalent, depending on education/qualifications/experience.
