Applications are being taken for full-time educational assistants at Foley Public Schools. Locations include Foley High School, Foley Intermediate School, and Foley Elementary School. Candidates interested in working at any location should apply. Start date is August 27, 2026.

Educational Assistants work directly under the supervision of a special education teacher and/or the school principal. They supervise and work with students with physical, intellectual, and/or behavioral disabilities. The work schedule is a 7-hour day (6.5 paid hours per day or 32.5 paid hours per 5-day week).

Qualifications include an A.A. degree or at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or a passing score on the Para Pro or Para Educator assessment. Experience or interest in working with children in a classroom or educational setting is required. Experience or interest in working with children with disabilities is preferred.
