High School Science-Chemistry Teaching Position
Kingsland Public Schools has a 1.0 FTE, High School Science-Chemistry Teaching Positions available for the school year. Candidates should hold or be eligible for a Minnesota teaching license. Physical Science and Chemistry licensures preferred. Master's degree in Physical Science, Chemistry, or a willingness to begin a Master's program, is desirable to support Kingsland's College in the Schools (CIS) program. Additional licensures are a positive.
Preferred candidate will possess or be willing to work towards proficiency in: A focus on lab/activity-based instruction Experience with aligning curriculum, activities, and assessments to standards Cooperative professional approach to teaching and learning Experience with professional learning communities and PBIS Experience with differentiating instruction Strong classroom and behavior management Strong technology skills Excellent communication skills Belief that all students can achieve and can meet high expectations Multiple strategies used to ensure all learners achieve at the highest levels Salary: $46,466-$80,386 depending upon experience and education.
