Location: Saint Francis

Special Education professionals have the opportunity to make a difference across multiple school sites for the  school year. Multiple contract positions are available working with students in varied rolesassessment, therapeutic settings, and elementary ASD center-based classrooms. These roles support students with a range of behavioral, emotional, academic, and developmental needs in both elementary and high school environments.

Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Bachelors or Masters in Special Education or a related field
  • Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License or eligibility through reciprocity
  • Strong experience developing and managing IEPs
  • Solid understanding of IDEA and Minnesota special education requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively
  • Preferred licensure:
    Academic and Behavioral Strategist (ABS), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Developmental Disabilities (DD), Learning Disabilities (LD)
  • Specialized experience with ASD, Setting III/IV therapeutic classrooms, special education assessments, PBIS, MTSS, FBAs, BIPs, case management, and supporting either elementary or secondary students
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver specially designed instruction targeting individual student goals
  • Conduct and contribute to assessments, eligibility meetings, and progress monitoring
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff, families, and administrators
  • Implement behavioral intervention strategies and trauma-informed practices as needed
  • Ensure compliance with special education laws, state standards, and district protocols
  • Cultivate inclusive, supportive learning communities where every student can thrive

These full-time roles are set to begin August 31, 2026 and continue through the academic year.
