Long-Term Substitute Elementary Special Education Teacher

Chisholm School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Long-Term Substitute Elementary Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment, deliver differentiated instruction, and collaborate with staff and families to ensure student success. Individuals who will be student teaching are eligible and encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Minnesota Special Education Licensure ABS, ASD, EBD preferred but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet varied needs

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide specialized instruction according to students' IEPs
• Modify curriculum and assessments to meet individual learning needs
• Manage and track student progress and behavior data
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Manage all Special Ed paperwork
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
