Kids Company Child Care Assistant/Aide

The Kids Company Child Care Assistant and Aide works closely with the Kids Company Site Leader and Program Leader to ensure a safe, caring, and positive child care environment for all participants.

• Provide daily supervision, interaction, and behavior management for varying groups of children.
• Work cooperatively with all Kids Company staff to plan, implement, and evaluate program activities.
• Supervise and engage children at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

May use standard office equipment such as a copy machine and telephone.

Travel between district buildings and within the community may be required depending on schedule/site assignment.

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships with others, including colleagues, staff, volunteers, students, and parents.
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to creatively problem-solve job-related issues.
• Teamwork mentality
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees, and others.
• Ability to adapt to and program for ever-changing community needs.

• Ability to lift thirty-five pounds.

• Experience working with youth in a supervisory capacity required.

Per AESP Master Agreement

Mornings: 6:45-7:45/8:00 am

Afternoons: 2:45/3:00-5:30 pm

Non-School Day

Hours:

6:45 am-5:30 pm
- Hours Vary
