Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial Secondary School seeks a long-term substitute special education teacher for grades 7–9. The position focuses on English Language Arts for students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), starting early December 2026.
Position OverviewSupport 7th–9th grade students with SLD in English Language Arts through targeted instruction, co-teaching, and IEP management.
Responsibilities- Teach and support 7th–9th grade students with SLD in ELA.
- Deliver small-group and co-taught instruction.
- Implement IEP accommodations and track student progress.
- Collaborate with general education English teachers and staff.
- Maintain regular communication with families.
- Minnesota Special Education licensure (SLD preferred) or eligibility.
- Secondary English instruction or intervention experience.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Early December 2026 start date through approximately April 2027.
Full-time, long-term substitute assignment.
