Early Head Start Assistant Classroom Teacher
As an Early Head Start Assistant Classroom Teacher, you will be:
Responsible for daily operations of a toddler age classroom of up to eight infants or toddlers. Duties include providing classroom supervision on a daily basis, providing required home visits and participating in three parent-teacher conferences and one enrollment meeting, two of which are offered in the family's home.
Minimum Education RequiredPosition requires an infant/toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or higher
Minimum Experience RequiredLess than one year of experience
Experience working with children ages 0-5
Must have reliable transportation
Must have valid driver's license and current auto insurance coverage in compliance with Minnesota State guidelines on the vehicle used for work related travel
Ability to effectively work across differences, especially socio-economic and cultural differences
