Para educator responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the implementation of Individualized Educational Plan
- Academic, behavior/social, and/or adaptive needs
- Assisting implementation of Behavior Intervention plan
- Assisting in the health plan, toileting plan, and/or medical delegations depending on students' individualized plan
- May require Right Response training; depending on program and student needs
- May require riding the bus with a student
Resource Program: The Resource program is a service for students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), health impairment, and mild social/emotional behavioral deficits. Resource services provide students with specially designed instruction to be successful in general education classrooms.
