Salary Range:$24,800.00 - $52,800.00

Assignment Credits & Per Credit Salary Range:
Pay is determined by the number of assignment credits. The assignment for this position, including the faculty instruction and head softball coach, may be up to a full load. 15 credits per semester is a full load. The Head Softball Coach position is 9 credits, and we anticipate 6 credits of instruction in the credential field the successful candidate is qualified to teach.

The per credit salary rate is $1,435.56 up to $2,396.43.

Position Overview M State is accepting applications for a Head Softball Coach and Faculty. The faculty portion of the assignment will need to be qualified to teach in one of the following disciplines:
Business, English, Mathematics, Biology, History, Physics. The assignment for this position, including the faculty instruction and head softball coach, may be up to full-time. This position will begin January 4, 2027 on the Fergus Falls campus.

Responsibilities:

Activities related to comprehensive community college coaching, teaching and learning, include but are not limited to:

Instructional planning and delivery.

Teaching and facilitating student learning.

Curriculum planning and development.

Assessment of student performance at course and departmental level, and contribute to student assessment at the college general education level.

Classroom management.

Maintenance of professional skills and credentials.

Participation in department meetings, coordination activities, and college-wide committees.

Head coach duties, including recruiting, conducting practices and tryouts, organizing and scheduling road trips, tracking students’ athletic eligibility, and other related duties.
