Le Sueur-Henderson Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Elementary Teacher committed to fostering academic growth, positive relationships, and inclusive learning environments for all students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional practices, collaboration skills, and a passion for supporting the whole child.

• Valid Minnesota Elementary Teaching License
• Demonstrated knowledge of elementary curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices
• Commitment to equitable educational practices and culturally responsive instruction

• Experience teaching elementary-age students
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), intervention, and progress monitoring
• Experience using assessment data to guide instruction and differentiate learning
• Background in collaborative team environments and professional learning communities

Instruction & Student Learning

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied student needs
• Implement research-based instructional strategies and best practices
• Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction
• Provide targeted interventions and monitor student progress

Classroom Environment

• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture
• Establish positive relationships with students and families
• Promote social-emotional learning and student well-being
• Maintain effective classroom management practices

Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities
