Long Term Substitute Reading Interventionist

Dassel-Cokato Public Schools is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for a Reading Interventionist at Dassel Elementary, beginning mid October. This assignment is anticipated to last between 6–12 weeks.

The long-term substitute will ensure continuity of learning during the regular teacher’s absence by planning and delivering daily instruction aligned with curriculum standards. Responsibilities include administering and evaluating classroom and standardized assessments, tracking student progress and skill development, and maintaining accurate records. The role also requires effective classroom management, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, collaborating with staff, communicating with families as appropriate, and consistently following school procedures and expectations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license
• Ability to be flexible and support various needs throughout the school day
