Boiler Operator

PURIS Proteins is seeking a Boiler Operator to support safe, efficient production at our plant-based ingredient facility. In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain high-pressure steam boilers and auxiliary equipment to meet manufacturing demands. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, adjusting controls, logging operating data, and responding to alarms to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

You will perform basic troubleshooting, assist with preventative maintenance, and coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support continuous plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-pressure steam boilers and auxiliary equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and safety checks on boiler systems
• Adjust controls to maintain proper pressure, temperature, and steam flow
• Log operating data and maintain accurate records of boiler performance
• Respond to alarms and equipment issues to prevent unplanned downtime
• Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with preventative maintenance
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to support plant operations
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or hazards
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives in the boiler room
