Role: Engineering Leader - Oracle Fusion
Contract Duration: ASAP - 9/20/2026
Rate: $87.75/hour W2

Description of work / project:- Leader for the technical delivery of an Oracle Fusion ERP project. This is not a PM role. Individual should be an experienced leader in the Oracle engineering space.
- The consultant will oversee engineering activities and directly manage an external vendor team responsible for building and integrating the new cloud platform. They’ll ensure architecture quality, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and drive the multi‑year migration from Oracle EBS to Fusion. Over time, the role should transition into a full‑time Senior Manager leader with direct reports - managing an internal Oracle engineering team and owning the long‑term Fusion technology roadmap.
- Ideal candidate has led a team through an Oracle Fusion implementation either at an organization or as a lead at a preferred Oracle partner (e.g. Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, PwC).
- Effectively lead and manage an external vendor engineering team, driving accountability, productivity, and on‑time delivery.
- Work with the other IT leaders and coordinate with internal teams, including the Oracle EBS team which will be “keeping the lights on” concurrently while the Fusion project runs in parallel.
- Deliver high‑quality Oracle Fusion solution design and engineering work, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and ERP strategy.
- Maintain strong governance over technical decisions, integrations, and cloud‑migration activities, reducing technical debt and ensuring scalable, secure solutions.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, guide Product Owners, and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities, outcomes, and value.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve delivery issues, and uphold service levels, cost controls, and vendor performance standards.
- Demonstrate strong leadership by coaching teams, fostering collaboration, and modeling high‑performance behaviors.
- Prepare for long‑term transition into a full‑time role by building internal capability, maturing engineering practices, and shaping the future Oracle ERP technology roadmap.
