Position Overview
You will lead validation planning and testing efforts for snowmobile platforms, ensuring systems and components meet defined performance, reliability, and durability requirements. In this role, you partner with product, systems, and test teams to define validation strategies, execute lab and field testing, and deliver clear insights on vehicle readiness. You own validation reporting, test execution, and data integrity across the development cycle.

- Develop and execute DVP&R plans for assigned snow vehicle programs.
- Define test procedures, pass/fail criteria, and equipment required to validate vehicle and system performance.
- Coordinate and execute component and vehicle‑level validation activities with cross‑functional teams.
- Establish reliability and durability test targets aligned with vehicle and system requirements.
- Lead validation processes to ensure performance, drivability, and certification requirements are achieved.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data using appropriate data acquisition and analytical tools.
- Ensure data integrity and technical accuracy across all validation and testing activities.
- Report validation status, results, and conclusions to project teams and leadership.
- Support field testing, root cause analysis, and issue resolution activities.
- Improve existing and develop new testing methods and procedures as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in validation, testing, or product development engineering.
- Hands‑on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with or ability to learn data acquisition and processing tools such as AIM or Edaq.
- Experience in test planning, development, coordination, and execution.
- Strong technical analysis, problem‑solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Experience supporting field and lab testing with reliability metrics and targets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Travel up to 10%.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $75,000 to $95,000 per year.
