Responsibilities
- Process Analysis & Improvement
:
Lead process assessments, process mapping, and identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to develop actionable recommendations that improve efficiency, quality, and reduce costs. - Project Leadership
:
Manage multiple operational excellence projects simultaneously, coordinating cross‑functional teams, developing project charters, defining deliverables, managing timelines, and ensuring execution aligns with strategic objectives. - Stakeholder Engagement
:
Build strong relationships with site leaders and front‑line employees to understand business needs, secure buy‑in, and drive change adoption. - Change Management
:
Partner with site leadership to design and implement change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs to facilitate seamless transitions and maximize adoption. - Data‑Driven Decision Making
:
Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to inform recommendations and measure project impact, presenting findings to diverse audiences through compelling presentations and reports. - Coaching & Capability Building
:
Mentor and train manufacturing teams in operational excellence tools, methodologies, and mindsets, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self‑sufficiency. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting
:
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring sustained results and identifying further improvement opportunities. - Less than 10% travel required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related sciences, operations, or supply chain.
- 3 to 7+ years of established continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated background in Lean manufacturing (mandatory) and Six Sigma analytical methodologies (preferred).
- Strong data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) expertise.
- Strong problem‑analysis and solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in Lean manufacturing tools, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and root‑cause analysis.
- Recognized Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certification (preferred).
- Proficiency in ERP systems, AutoCAD, and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, MS Office/Excel).
- Exposure to injection molding, mechanical assembly, or machining processes preferred.
- Compensation: $85,000–$110,000 per year, dependent on skills.
