PROJECT TOOLING ENGINEER – Metal Injection Molding and Plastic Injection MoldingLocation:
Center City, MN
• Job Type: Regular Full-Time
Salary Range: $65,000.00 to $ Annually
We are looking to add a Project / Tooling Engineer to our team of employee-owners for our facility in Center City, MN at our Smith Metal Products division.
Responsibilities- Quote injection mold tooling and piece-part pricing for new and existing customers.
- Work with customers on design tooling modifications.
- Testing and establishing/improving process cycles for new and existing tooling.
- Applying lean manufacturing and automation knowledge to analyze process/tooling for improvements.
- Requires professional communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with all departments and customers.
- Engineering degree (Bachelor’s) preferred and plastics and metal injection molding experience required.
