The Basics
Pay:
Depending on experience, $25.00 - $39.00/hour
Schedule:
Standard hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Core Responsibilities
Collaborating with various teams and vendors to acquire information for prospective conveyor design projects and develop competitive bids
- Analyzing customer specifications, blueprints, and schematics to identify labor and material needs, estimate timelines, and create preliminary layouts and system drawings
- Preparing cost estimates and presenting proposals
- Coordinating projects, tracking bids, and maintaining engineering/sales documentation within the ERP
- Ensuring all aspects of the job are up to quality and safety expectations and promptly reporting unsafe conditions
- Providing price quotes, setting credit terms, and preparing sales contracts
Requirements
Our ideal Project Estimator is experienced in project management, industrial construction, mechanical conveying, material handling, technical writing, and/or millwright work. Exposure to low- and medium-voltage electrical systems and motors would be a bonus! You'll need:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a subject like project management, construction management, or drafting & design
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, structural steel, manufacturing processes, and industrial construction techniques
- Ability to accurately follow schematics, blueprints, and verbal instructions
- Professional communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.), Epicor Kinetic (or similar ERP), and CAD, AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, or similar design software
