As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the engineering team to achieve organizational goals. This position requires a seasoned engineering professional with strong technical knowledge on cryptography, software development in Rust, and internet protocols. In addition, technical leadership skills and the ability to drive innovation are a desired for this position. You will be responsible for technical planning, executing, and delivering engineering projects in agile manner while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, implement, validate and document sub-system and system level embedded designs in software (Rust,
C) for secure communication devices - Analyze and debug embedded systems to ensure stability, reliability and performance
- Implement test cases for test automation for the developed embedded devices
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams
- Enable successful delivery of projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for technical improvement and automation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment as a team player with "can do" mindset
- Hands‑on experience on SW development on ARM‑based devices in Rust (Linux) and C (FreeRTOS)
- Hands‑on experience with Linux‑based systems based on Yocto
- Domain knowledge in one of: IP‑based communications over Ethernet networks, remote management of network infrastructure, cryptography or audio processing
- Solid understanding of agile development principles. Experience in working in self‑organizing cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with continuous integration practices
- Experience with test automation with Robot Framework is a plus
- Knowledge of information security and communications security, including cryptography
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent working proficiency with industry‑standard tools:
Jira, Confluence, Git - Hands‑on experience with hardware debugging tools (JTAG)
The base salary for the role will be around EUR 6,000 based on the candidate's experience.
