Role Summary
DeZURIK is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience to drive measurable improvements across our global supply base and play a direct role in product quality and business performance. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role that combines technical problem‑solving, supplier engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is based on-site at our Sartell, MN location with flexibility for a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities- Work closely with suppliers, engineering, sourcing, and operations teams to identify quality issues, assess risk, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage supplier performance using metrics such as PPM and SCARs, conduct supplier audits, and ensure manufacturing processes—from casting to machining—meet quality and specification requirements.
- Investigate nonconformances, lead root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why), challenge supplier responses, and drive improvements that prevent recurrence.
- Lead supplier reviews, refine scorecards, and strengthen data and process controls across the organization.
- Travel domestically and internationally to build strong supplier partnerships and influence outcomes firsthand.
Within the first 90 days, you should learn the supplier base and key issues, own corrective actions and audits, and deliver measurable improvements in supplier performance.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field).
- 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience with a focus on supplier quality.
- Strong technical credibility and experience in manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving, collaboration, and change‑management skills.
- Ability to confidently challenge suppliers while aligning internal stakeholders.
Competitive base salary in the $75,577 to $94,472 range with annual bonus opportunities tied to performance.
