We create innovative information products for various industries – from printed operating manuals to augmented reality applications for mobile devices. The Etteplan Defense GmbH, part of the Etteplan Group, specializes in the creation of user manuals, test and maintenance instructions, function descriptions, repair guides, and training materials for the Bundeswehr, the military, and the defense industry.

For our branch in Koblenz, we are looking for project managers (m/w/d) with the ability to successfully implement complex projects for our customers – especially the Bundeswehr.

Your Tasks:

• Leadership and management of projects in the defense area considering time, budget, and quality
• Coordination of interdisciplinary teams as well as interface between customers, internal departments, and external partners
• Ensuring compliance with project management standards and methods (Prince2)
• Creation and maintenance of project plans, status reports, and risk management
• Support in the implementation of standards such as S1000D and S2000M

Your Qualification:

• Completed study or vocational training with appropriate further education (master/technician) in the fields of plant and mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable
• Proven project management skills (Prince2 certification; PMI-PMP)
• Knowledge in the creation of technical documentation in an XML-based editorial system
• Basic knowledge in S1000D and S2000M
• Experience in working with content management systems (HiCo, Quils etc.) and structured documents (XML/SGML)
• Experience in working with the customer Bundeswehr
• Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as confident demeanor
• Negotiation-safe German language skills, good English language skills
