This international contractor specialises in delivering large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning services.

With multiple live hyperscale projects currently under construction across Europe, the business has established itself as one of the leading mission critical contractors in the sector, known for technical delivery, programme management, and high-quality standards.

Due to continued growth in Finland, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join a major data centre development in Vaasa.

The Electrical Lead will take responsibility for the management and delivery of the electrical package on a large-scale data centre construction project.

Reporting to senior project management, you will oversee electrical subcontractors, programme delivery, QA processes, health & safety compliance, and commercial management across the electrical systems package.

This role requires a strong electrical construction background combined with experience managing large installation projects within mission critical, industrial, or large-scale M&E environments.

• Must have 5+ years’ experience in Project Management or Electrical Lead roles
• Proven experience required managing large electrical installation projects
• Trade qualification or relevant third-level qualification required
• Strong experience coordinating subcontractors and electrical site teams
• Experience managing health & safety, QA, and programme delivery on live construction projects

• Data centre or mission critical project experience preferred
• Experience managing large-scale M&E packages beneficial
• Strong commercial and cost management experience advantageous
• Experience dealing with Industrial Relations issues beneficial

• European project experience
• Commissioning and energisation exposure

• Manage the electrical systems package across the project lifecycle
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist vendors
• Drive programme delivery in conjunction with the Project Manager and consultant teams
• Manage health & safety across the electrical package alongside the safety team
• Promote and maintain a strong Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental culture on-site
• Oversee electrical QA processes including setup, management, and close-out of QA documentation
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved
• Manage costs associated with the electrical package and report commercial updates
• Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Support commissioning, testing, and project handover activities

You are an experienced Electrical Lead or Electrical Project Manager with a strong background delivering large electrical installation projects within construction or mission critical environments.

You have strong leadership and coordination skills, understand programme delivery, and can manage subcontractors and site teams effectively within fast-paced live project environments.

You are commercially aware, organised, and capable of maintaining high safety and quality standards while driving projects to completion.

Salary: €120,000 to €140,000 + DOE
