Responsibilities• Monitors process performance and identifies opportunities for improving yield, energy efficiency, and reliability. Assists in plan test runs and develops projects to address opportunities.
• Supports collaboration with operations, engineering and maintenance teams to resolve operational challenges. Develops relationships with console and field operators.
• Participates in hazard evaluations, incident investigations, and management of change. Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
• Supports turnaround/outage execution. May review turnaround planning, including scope development and post-event evaluations.
• Maintains and updates process documentation. Troubleshoots and maintains unit mass balance within tolerance.
• Participates in technology advisory groups.
Qualifications- Required Major:
Chemical Engineering - Education Level: Bachelor's degree
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be a former Intern of Marathon Petroleum Corporation
- A valid driver's license is required
