We're looking for a Scientist to be responsible for investigating novel materials and engineering solutions for filled polymer materials for thermal management.

• Use solid scientific principles to plan and conduct lab experiments, prepare samples, characterize materials, and understand composition and property relationships
• Develop, formulate, and characterize new technically advanced materials per product development roadmap
• Generate technical reports and project progress reports on a routine basis
• Interface directly with material suppliers and equipment vendors to identify new materials and methods

• Degree in chemical engineering, plastics, materials science, or chemistry
• 2+ years relevant experience with polymer composite materials
• Hands on experience with formulation, processing equipment, and safety procedures
• Experience and knowledge with a wide range of polymers and thermoplastics
• Highly competent and comfortable working with many different machines, tools, and testing devices
• Ability to work well in team environment
• Highly motivated with hands-on approach to laboratory work
