Job Title
Develop and maintain accurate 3D CAD models and technical drawings utilizing Solid Works software
Generate assembly and production drawings for bi-folding, hydraulic-operated, and custom-engineered door solutions
Modify existing designs and implement engineering changes to components, subassemblies, and finished products
Revise and maintain electrical layouts, control schematics, and wiring documentation for automated door systems
Prepare detailed fabrication prints and manufacturing documentation to support shop floor operations
Manage drawing revisions, engineering records, and product documentation while maintaining configuration control
Maintain organized CAD databases, part libraries, and engineering files to support efficient document retrieval
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial groups to support product development and production needs
Verify that engineering documentation aligns with internal design standards, quality requirements, and manufacturability guidelines
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in drafting, design technology, engineering support, or a related discipline
Proficiency using 3D and 2D CAD software, with experience in Solid Works preferred; familiarity with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar design platforms is beneficial
Experience developing detailed production, fabrication, and manufacturing documentation for industrial products or assemblies
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and mechanical design documentation
Understanding of manufacturing methods such as sheet metal processing, machining, welding, and assembly operations is advantageous
Highly organized with the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency across multiple projects and design changes
Capable of balancing competing priorities, coordinating revisions, and delivering work within established timelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities when supporting design and manufacturing challenges

This is a Permanent position based out of Hector, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
