Interested in applying your engineering skills to real-world manufacturing challenges? Looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment? Post Consumer Brands is seeking Manufacturing Engineering Interns to join our team for a 13-week internship at one of our manufacturing facilities during Summer 2027.
This program is designed for students who are excited to build a career in manufacturing and are open to relocating for the summer. Internship opportunities are available at our facilities in Northfield, MN;
Tremonton, UT;
Lawrence, KS; and Meadville, PA.
As an intern, you'll work on meaningful engineering projects that improve manufacturing processes, equipment reliability, safety, quality, and operational performance. You'll collaborate with engineers, maintenance teams, production leaders, and plant personnel while gaining firsthand experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Beyond the summer internship, this program serves as a key pipeline for future Manufacturing Engineering roles across Post's manufacturing network and opportunities within our Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP).

What You'll Do
As a member of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you'll work on projects that improve production processes, equipment performance, and operational efficiency. Depending on business needs and your interests, you may have opportunities to:
- Lead or support engineering projects that improve safety, quality, equipment reliability, productivity, and overall plant performance
- Analyze manufacturing data and processes to identify improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and deliver measurable business results
- Support capital projects, process optimization efforts, and the development of standard work, operating procedures, and training materials
- Present project updates, recommendations, and results to engineering and plant leadership
Specific projects are determined prior to the internship based on business needs and intern interests.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, Bioproducts & Biosystems Engineering or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2027, Spring 2028, or Summer 2028
- Understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing systems, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies through coursework, project work, or prior experience
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous engineering, manufacturing, technical, or internship experience is preferred
- Willingness to relocate for the summer and openness to future opportunities across Post's manufacturing network
- Interest in the consumer-packaged goods/manufacturing industry and the desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation is strongly preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

This internship program runs from May 17, 2027 - August 13, 2027.
This role is paid USD $25.00 per hour.
