General Responsibilities:
We are seeking a friendly and dependable individual to join our team and help create a welcoming, positive experience for all members, prospective members, and guests. In this dual role, the Live Fit Playroom & Member Services Representative will provide supervision and engagement in the Live Fit Playroom—a safe, fun space for children ages 6 months to 11 years old—while their parent or guardian utilizes the wellness center.
In addition, this team member will support front desk operations, providing customer service and maintaining knowledge of memberships, programs, services, and products we offer.
Ideal candidates enjoy working with both children and adults, have excellent communication skills, and are comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience working with children is required.
Preferred Education/Training:
- Experience working with children is required.
- 1+ years customer service experience
- Interest or experience in a fitness center setting or general fitness.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Must be 16 years of age or older
Skill(s):
- Background and/or passion for fitness and wellness
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word)
- Maintains the integrity of highly confidential business and member information.
- Displays and promotes high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organization standards.
- Adapts well to change with the flexibility to adjust to schedule changes when needed.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively.
Experience:
Receptionist experience preferred.
