Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
To assist the Technical Director of the Dance Department with the setup, running and striking of Dance Department and Dance Department sponsored performances as well as maintenance of theatrical equipment and storage.

This position requires crouching, kneeling/crawling, stooping, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs., operating hand tools, and operating equipment or machinery to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise, respiratory factors, chemicals, proximity hazards, and heights or cramped quarters to perform the essential functions. Protective equipment is required for some essential functions.
